The blood ties between people in Britain and the Middle East, according to one scientific research, are apparently   much   stronger   than ordinarily suspected.   Up to   15-30%   of  the  genes  of indigenous Britons   may have come  from   Arab immigrants who brought farming to the UK 6,000-10,000 years ago,   according to a study of rare genetic   markers   Y-chromosomes.     However, moving on   from   genetic   material   to written historical records, influences of   Arab migration are to be found which are not limited to agricul- tural migration.
